
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. The predominant form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s an approach that aims to facilitate the flow of energy and remove blocks, similar to acupuncture or acupressure.

The term "Reiki" derives from two Japanese words: "Rei" - meaning universal, and "ki" - which loosely translates to life force energy.
Reiki sessions are not intended to directly cure diseases or illnesses; Instead, they are used as a means to manage symptoms and improve overall well-being. By enhancing the flow of energy within the body, Reiki practitioners believe it can induce relaxation, alleviate pain, accelerate healing, and subside various symptoms of illness.

How Does a Long-Distance Healing Session Work?
During a long-distance Reiki healing session, recipients are advised to be in relaxed environments, free from distractions and stressors. These sessions typically last between 45 minutes to 1 hour. There are two common methods employed in long-distance Reiki healing:

In the first method, prior to the session, I make sure clients are guided to find a comfortable and quiet location. Then I, the Reiki Master, ask them to rest and prepare to receive the healing energy. From my experience of facilitating numerous remote treatments, I always prefer to try and initiate direct communication with my client first to discuss their concerns.

The second method involves healing the client using their full-body picture. This approach is often preferred when time constraints are a factor, but it yields equally effective results.

The concept of time and space becomes irrelevant during a Reiki healing session; Healing energy transcends these limitations.

Upon completion of the healing process, I make sure to contact my client via phone, text, or email to inquire about their experience and feelings during the session.
